We provided risk and continuity management services under a 2 year framework contract to a multi national bank based in Kuwait. An initial series of risk assessments, risk entity profiles and business impact analysis were completed on a sample of branches and head quarters buildings ranging from Low to High Risk. All aspects of safety, security and risk were considered and a comprehensive report with full risk assessments with recommendations for treatments was presented to the client.
These models were used to inform planned change – refurbishments in other building already operated by the group and build in such features into all future design.
An important element for this client was that all aspects should reflect the appropriate British Standards, be fully cross referenced to the standards and indicatively costed on an international basis.
As a required deliverable, this was both crucial to the international acceptance of the measures required and underscores the high regard with which BSI standards in Business Continuity, Risk Management and wider safety and security are held.
This project also included scoping out requirements for further learning and development needs of staff in related security and risk management roles and a structural review to improve communication a create a more manageable and cohesive approach to delivering risk services.
